Founding Group

The Founding Group is comprised of Glenn Pierce, Robert Cambo, Tamara Moodie-Ramdeen, Ph.D., and Susan L. Leon, all of whom are parents and professionals who have been touched by autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and who strive to provide the best possible individualized education for children with ASD.
Glenn Pierce Mr. Pierce is the founder and CEO of Pacific Charter School Development (PCSD), a nonprofit based in Los Angeles, California. PCSD has built 33 schools over the last five years serving almost 12,300 students and their families. During that time, he has raised over $40 million from the nation’s leading foundations engaged in increasing student outcomes. He has been a leader in the charter school movement for over a decade following management roles with Citibank and PepsiCo. He holds an AB in Economics and Business from Lafayette College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate Citicorp’s Institute for Global Finance and the Broad Superintendents Academy. He is also the parent of a child with autism.
Robert Cambo
Mr. Cambo is the CEO of Alliance Companies, a private real estate development company based in Coconut Grove which has built three (3) charter school campuses serving 3,000 students over the last three (3) years. Mr. Cambo is very active in the autism community and a Silver Sponsor of Autism Speaks and UM/NSU CARD. He is also the parent of a child with autism.
Tamara Moodie-Ramdeen, Ph.D.
Dr. Moodie has 11 years experience in autism education. She has a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Special Education, and a Ph.D. in Education/Administration, and is certified to teach in the State of Florida. She has also completed her coursework for her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Susan L. Leon
Mrs. Leon has 15 years experience as a paralegal and 3 years experience in fundraising/grantwriting. She is also the parent of a child with autism and very active in the community, serving as an advocate for families of newly diagnosed children.
